Overview
Nestled along the Maikal Ranges in the Satpuras, Kanha is one of the finest wildlife destinations that you would see around the world. Kanha’s undulating landscape is dotted with dense groves of vegetation, hillocks, and meadows. The landscapes and the surrounding luxurious meadows along with the wooded strands and the dense forests offer extraordinary sightseeing opportunities for all the nature lovers.
The park is primarily a moist Sal and moist mixed deciduous forest where Bamboo, Tendu, Sal, Jamun, Arjun and Lendia flourish. Of all these habitats, it is Kanha’s meadows that are its lifeline, as they sustain large numbers of Chital, Sambar, Barasingha and Gaur, which in turn support populations of predators and co-predators like Tigers, Leopards, Wild Dogs, Jungle Cats and Jackals. Believe us, watching a big cat amidst the expansive Kanha meadows is a surreal experience for sure! Kanha best known for its towering Sal forests, is home to about 300 species of Birds, 43 species of Mammals, 26 species of Reptiles and more than 500 species of Insects.
Another attraction at Kanha is the state animal of Madhya Pradesh, the endemic - Hard Ground Barasingha which is found exclusively in Kanha Tiger Reserve. Through holistic conservation approach and effective management practices, the Tiger Reserve has seen a rise in population of this symbolic deer species which was once on the brink of extinction from the Earth.
Itinerary
Day 1
Campers are requested to check in at the resort at Kanha by 12 noon. Post check-in we will enjoy a scrumptious lunch that would be arranged for us. Post lunch time to rest. Spend your eve at leisure exploring the camp site before our mentors give a brief orientation about the forest. Later enjoy a hearty meal before hitting the bed. Overnight at the resort.
Meals : Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 & 3
Today we will enjoy morning and evening safaris in the enchanting Sal forests of Kanha. Wake-up call early in the morning post which we will leave for the morning safari at the crack of dawn. Our search for the Royal Bengal Tiger begins. We will enjoy a picnic breakfast in the forest. Apart from the Tigers keep a lookout on species like Leopards, Jungle Cats, Jackals, Sloth Bears, Wild Boars, Spotted Deer, Sambar, and much more. Kanha has a lot to offer for birding enthusiasts as well so keep a lookout on the avifauna that can be found here.
Post a scintillating safari experience we get back to our resort and freshen up. After some rest we will dig into a delectable meal arranged for us before leaving for another safari. We will explore the enchanting trails of the forests with some of the best drivers and guides as we track the big cats in Kanha. Post an exciting safari we will get back to the resort and spend the eve at leisure where we discuss the day’s sightings followed by dinner. Overnight at the resort.

Day 4
Today we will wake up at the crack of dawn and leave for our last safari in the bewitching forests of Kanha. This would be our last chance for searching the Tigers and other wildlife that is found here. Later we will enjoy our picnic breakfast in the reserve before heading out for the resort. On arrival at the resort, we will pack up and check-out. Later we proceed for our respective journeys back home.

Booking Procedure
A 60 % booking amount is to be paid at the time of registration. Balance payments shall be paid at least 30 days prior to the tour departure date. Registrants are advised to furnish a copy of a recognized Government Identity Card - Aadhar, Pan, Driver's License, Passport, Voter's ID at the time of registration. For foreign nationals it is mandatory to share a copy of a valid passport at the time of registration.
